Bitget Wallet has successfully integrated the HyperEVM, providing users with direct access to the robust $5 billion DEX ecosystem of Hyperliquid, along with the advantages of cross-chain transfers and HYPE token utilities.

Summary

  • This integration allows users to trade on the Hyperliquid DEX, explore HyperEVM decentralized applications (dApps), and utilize the features of the HYPE native token.
  • The mainnet launch follows a December 2024 testnet phase where users could experiment with HyperEVM and claim test tokens.
  • HyperEVM enhances Bitget Wallet’s support for over 130 blockchains, solidifying its status as a comprehensive self-custodial platform.

Bitget Wallet has proudly announced its complete integration with HyperEVM, the Ethereum-compatible smart contract layer of Hyperliquid’s Layer-1 blockchain. This integration significantly enhances the user experience, allowing Bitget Wallet users to tap into the Hyperliquid DEX, conduct cross-chain transfers, and engage with utilities provided by the HYPE token, including functions like gas payments and staking within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Additional features such as perpetual trading and an expanded suite of DeFi modules are anticipated to be introduced in the coming weeks, further enriching the user experience.

Jamie Elkaleh, CMO of Bitget Wallet, emphasized the company’s mission, stating, “Our aim is to simplify access to one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in the cryptocurrency space. By fully integrating HyperEVM, we empower self-custody users to interact with a high-performance infrastructure that covers trading, programmable finance, and cross-chain operations while upholding the simplicity and security that embody our vision. This is about ushering in the next wave of on-chain finance.”

The integration of HyperEVM into Bitget Wallet comes on the heels of a successful testnet launch in December 2024, which enabled users to easily incorporate HyperEVM into their custom mainnet with a single click and receive test coins via the Hyperliquid faucet. During this testnet phase, users enjoyed early access to the HyperEVM dApp ecosystem, exploring various projects and decentralized applications.

This strategic integration further broadens Bitget Wallet’s vast network of supported platforms, which currently encompasses more than 130 blockchains, positioning it as a formidable player in the self-custodial wallet market.
